3. Titans go with rookie Malik Willis as Tannehill's backup QB -

NASHVILLE (AP) — Rookie quarterback Malik Willis' quick learning curve made veteran Logan Woodside dispensable for Tennessee.

4. Titans have competition for backup QB job thanks to Willis -

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have a competition for the job backing up Ryan Tannehill, and coach Mike Vrabel has made it very clear they want rookie Malik Willis throwing more.

Vrabel pulled Willis two plays into Tennessee's first drive of the third quarter after the quarterback scrambled on the second play for 17 yards in the Titans' 23-10 loss Thursday night to Baltimore. Willis showed off his scrambling ability running five times for 38 yards with a touchdown, and his strong arm was on display with a 48-yard toss to Racey McMath.

8. Titans' about-face results in shutout win, brighter outlook -

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Titans returned from their much-needed bye week and got their first home shutout since 2000.

On Sunday, the Titans bested AFC South rival Jacksonville 20-0 thanks to a defense that intercepted Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence four times.

9. Titans' Vrabel halts interviews after Cunningham questions -

NASHVILLE (AP) — Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel walked out of his post-practice news conference Friday, becoming angry when questioned about newly acquired linebacker Zach Cunningham.

Vrabel was only about 90 seconds into the session when he was asked to discuss the skill set of Cunningham, whom he coached in Houston and was claimed by the Titans off waivers on Thursday. Vrabel had been asked twice about Cunningham and stated both times that he would talk about him next week.

10. Titans finally reach bye week with chance to rest, heal -

NASHVILLE (AP) — No NFL team needs its bye week as much as the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans (8-4) finally get to rest and heal up some of the many injured players for a stretch run to finish the season. Tennessee has used 86 different players this season, most by an NFL team since at least 1993 and topping the mark of 84 first set by Miami in 2019. They've also started 49 different players.

11. Titans determined to fix issues protecting QB Ryan Tannehill -

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Titans are having serious issues protecting their quarterback.

After being sacked only 24 times all of last season, Ryan Tannehill has been taken down 17 times — most in the NFL through four games. Only Carson Wentz of Indianapolis (35) and New England's Mac Jones (34) have been hit more than Tannehill (32).

12. Vrabel: Nobody did well enough in loss to Jets -

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Titans are banged up, can't protect their quarterback and just lost to a previously winless team.

Yep, there's plenty of blame to go around.

"Nobody did well enough — head coach, assistant coaches, quarterback," coach Mike Vrabel said Monday. "We've been through this before. When you lose, we all have to do more, we all have to be better. I'm confident that we will. So we'll see who we have this week, we'll see who's available and get them ready."

13. Tannehill, Titans beat up by sack-happy Jets in OT loss -

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — It seemed just about every time Ryan Tannehill dropped back to throw, there was another New York Jets defender in his face.

The Tennessee Titans quarterback certainly took his lumps, getting sacked seven times in a 27-24 overtime loss Sunday.

14. Titans' Lewan set to return agianst Colts -

NASHVILLE (AP) — Tennessee left tackle Taylor Lewan practiced fully all week and is set to play Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts after being scratched for the Titans' win in Seattle.

Outside linebacker Bud Dupree is questionable after not practicing Friday. Starting tight end Anthony Firkser (knee), rookie cornerback Caleb Farley (shoulder) and outside linebacker Derick Roberson (knee) all are out against the Colts (0-2).

15. Titans sign kicker Randy Bullock, put safety Hooker on IR -

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have another new kicker, signing Randy Bullock off their practice squad, and safety Amani Hooker becomes the latest starter on injured reserve.

16. Analysis: Breaking down the College World Series teams -

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — A look at the eight teams competing in the College World Series, which starts Saturday at TD Ameritrade Park. (Capsules in order of CWS opening games. Coaches' records through super regionals):

18. Bills-Titans, Broncos-Patriots rescheduled by NFL -

The Bills-Titans game has been moved from Sunday to Tuesday night at 7 p.m. EDT as long as Tennessee has no more positive tests for COVID-19 in the interim.

CBS will televise the game.

The NFL also is rescheduling Sunday's Broncos-Patriots game from Sunday to Monday at 5 p.m. EDT as part of an ESPN doubleheader. New England had a smaller outbreak of COVID-19.

19. Titans place top pick Wilson back on COVID-Reserve list -

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have placed their top draft pick, offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson, back on the COVID-Reserve list.

The Titans made the roster move Sunday. They also added running back Senorise Perry and cornerback Chris Milton to the 53-man roster, while placing safety Dane Cruikshank on injured reserve. Cruikshank will be eligible to return after the Titans' game Sept. 27 at Minnesota under the revised rules for this season.

That year, Chandler began collecting residential sales information for the Chandler Residential Report, considered the authoritative source for residential real estate sales information. Over the next three decades, the publications have been continually refined, enhanced and expanded, growing to include lot sales data, new residential construction and absorption information, and commercial sales. In 1987, Chandler Reports began one of the first on–line real estate market data services in the country, and is a nationally recognized leader in the industry. In 2004, Chandler Reports was purchased by The Daily News Publishing Co. In 2007, Chandler introduced RegionPlus, including property research for Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
