At an average of 4,000 fans per race, is Speedway a good deal for Metro taxpayers?
On any given Sunday, more than 68,000 NFL fans crowd into LP field to watch the Titans. On a typical Saturday night at Nashville’s historic Fairgrounds Speedway, 4,000 stock car racing fans are expected to occupy a grandstand designed to seat more than three times that number.
When James Lasater was just 8 years old he was already helping his father install solar panels and geothermal units around his hometown of College Station, Texas, mainly for the professors of local Texas A&M University.
